A 25-year-old nurse suffered serious head injuries when she jumped out of a running autorickshaw after the driver allegedly tried to molest her while she was returning home after duty, police said today.
The victim has been admitted to the ICU of a private medical college hospital at Tiruvalla, where she was working, they said, adding the driver of the auto has been arrested.
The nurse was returning home at Muthur near Tirivalla town in the vehicle that came to the hospital to drop some patients.
On reaching a deserted area on the way, the driver tried to molest her and she suffered head injuries as she jumped out, they added.
