Nooriya was on her way home to Colaba from a friend's house in Breach Candy when she lost control of her car. The police later revealed that she had tested positive for drugs. (

The 28-year-old beautician was granted bail against a surety of Rs 15,000; she has been banned her from leaving the country.
The government says her bail has been granted on a technicality- because a chargesheet was not filed against her within 60 days of her arrest. Its lawyers say they still have time to complete the formalities against her.
