Noida:
Authorities on Friday dismissed 18 anganwadi employees from service after they allegedly fed animals with food items supplied for children at Tilapta village here.
District Magistrate Deepak Aggarwal during inspection at an angawadi of the village received complaints that staff were not working properly. They were accused of feeding animals with baby food.
DM ordered the dismissal of 18 workers after allegations were verified. He also asked district programme officer to lodge an FIR against them.
