A part-time model and student Pooja Vaidya registered a complaint when she found her car trashed and belongings worth Rs 30,000 stolen, outside a coffee shop in Lokhandwala in Mumbai last night.

Vaidya was at a coffee shop at the Lokhandwala circle with friends and was leaving the restaurant a little before midnight when she found her car's rear window shattered.

"I had parked the car next to the coffee shop and we were chilling in the area. When I finally returned at about 11.30 pm, I was shocked to see my car was broken into and my bag containing expensive perfumes, my make up kit and cash was gone," said Vaidya.

The Oshiwara police have registered Vaidya's complaint. "There are no suspects but I hope they find whoever did this. My car's ruined," said an upset Vaidya. "I'm just glad there wasn't anything else in the car or that I wasn't attacked myself."
