Imphal:
About four suspected militants fired at the residence of a senior Manipur government official in Imphal West district, but no harm could be done, police said here on Wednesday.
The unidentified militants fired at the private house of the superintending engineer of state agriculture department, K Manoranjan late last night.
The militants fled when the official fired from his gun, sources said adding monetary demand from the official could be the reason behind the incident.
