A Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) student allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a river in Tawali area after his father scolded him for talking to his girlfriend, police said today.
Sarvesh Gutpa, 18, was scolded by his father while he was talking to his girlfriend on Tuesday after which he left the house and jumped into Quano river, they said.
The body was today fished out from the river.
