Goa tightens security after nationwide terror alert
Panaji: Goa has been put on high alert as terror outfits may strike during the coming festive season, a senior official said on Saturday.

Goa Chief Secretary Sanjiv Srivastava told reporters in Panaji that night patrolling has been intensified and special protection provided at vital installations.

The Union Home Ministry had alerted Goa government as also many other states in the country about possible terror attacks based on intelligence inputs which indicated that Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) could strike during the festive season.
