Bulandshahr:
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly strangled to death by her drunk father in Rajgadhi village in the district after she tried to stop him from molesting her, police said in Bulandshahr on Sunday.
Charan Singh returned home drunk late Saturday night after which he tried to molest his daughter, Senior Superintendent of Police Gulab Singh said.
When she refused to let him, in a fit of anger he strangled her to death, the SSP said, adding he burnt her body to hide his crime.
Villagers informed the police of the incident and the accused was arrested, they said.
