Berhampur (Orissa):
A school teacher was on Friday arrested on charge of attempt to rape a Class VI girl student by administering injection at a primary school in Ganjam district, police said.
The teacher Yudhistira Biswal was arrested after the incident took place at Upgraded Middle English School at Phapalapur village, about 50 km from Berhampur.
The syringe was recovered from the teacher will be sent for medical tests, said inspector-in-charge of Aska police station Dillip Kumar Tripathy.
The incident came to light when another student in the class disclosed the incident to her parents.
About a week ago, the same teacher was also accused of attempting to rape another girl at the school.
