In a close shave for passengers, two wheels of local train derailed today near the Light House station around noon.
The incident took place when the train, part of the city's Mass Rapid Transit System, was heading towards the Beach Station from Velacherry.
According to railway officials, no passenger has suffered any injury.
"Officials are investigating the matter", said a senior officer.
