Chennai: A red Santro, racing through a narrow lane, hurtles two pedestrians onto the road side. It keeps going, two men thrown onto its bonnet. A few seconds later, they are lurched into the air and fall onto the ground.

These are the chilling details caught by the security cameras at an apartment building in Chennai on Tuesday night. The driver, who works at a bank located in the building, was identified as Venkatesh and arrested.
