  • People have voted against the corrupt UPA government.
  • In Punjab for the 1st time, an incumbent govt- BJP and Akali Dal has been voted back to power.
  • In Uttar Pradesh, our results were not as we expected. I congratulate Mulayam Singh Yadav for getting the support of the people in UP.  I do not want to comment on the Congress leadership, but this is a jolt to them.
  • The BJP has won 26 seats in Goa. Even Catholics have voted for BJP.
  • I hope we will be able to win Uttarakhand where we will be able to get 32-33 seats.
