Bellary:
A man carrying over Rs 33 lakh cash in a motorcycle was apprehended in Bellary for violating the code of conduct in poll-bound Karnataka, police said.
Officials of Income Tax department and police seized Rs 33.49 lakh cash from the man in Bellary.
Police said the cash, purportedly belonging to a local industrialist, was being ferried in the motorbike when it was intercepted.
The man has been taken into custody, they said.
