The full Election Commission arrived here today to review preparations for the upcomingAssam Assembly elections.The EC team, headed by Chief Election Commissioner S Y Quraishi, will meet leaders of various political parties to elicit their views on the polls and discuss other issues, including the law and order situation, official sources said.The Commission is expected to take a decision on the poll schedule after reviewing the situation on the ground, they added.
