Kabul hotel standoff over, all attackers dead: Government

Kabul: A Taliban assault on a hotel on the outskirts of Kabul is over, an Afghan interior ministry spokesman said on Friday, almost 12 hours after it began.

Sediq Sediqqi said four militants who attacked the Spozhmai hotel on Lake Qargha were dead and security forces were searching the premises as a precaution in case more attackers were hiding.
