Islamabad:
Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan married television presenter Reham Khan this evening at his farmhouse on the outskirts of Islamabad in Pakistan.
Mr Khan heads the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party.
His close aide, Sherin Mazari, confirmed the couple married in a simple ceremony. Photos of the couple were then released to the press.
Mr Khan's bride, Reham Khan, was a weather reporter for the BBC and now hosts a political talk show on Pakistan's Dawn News.
Imran Khan was previously married to British socialite Jemima Khan and has two sons. His new wife reportedly has three children from a previous marriage.
For some weeks, there has been chatter about the politician possibly remarrying but it was not confirmed until Thursday.
