Paula axed from The X Factor

Los Angeles: Singer Paula Abdul has reportedly been fired from her role as a judge on the US version of The X Factor.

According to tmz.com, the 49-year-old, who was personally recruited by music mogul Simon Cowell after she was fired from American Idol, got news of her dismissal from a lawyer connected with the show.
