Bangalore: Three persons have been arrested on charges of storing and selling fake spare parts of Hyundai cars, police said on Wednesday.
Parts worth over Rs 9 lakh were seized in the raids by the Crime and Misappropriation wing of the Central Crime Branch on Tuesday on three automobile shops on J C Road, a police release said in Bangalore.
The culprits were luring customers and selling fake spare parts of Hyundai cars as original parts, police said.
The seized fake spare parts include Front-Wheel Bearings, Drum-Wheel Bearings, Clutch Bearings, Door Visor, Antenna, Front Grills and other parts, worth Rs 9.19 lakh in all, police said.
