Hyderabad: The Central Bureau of Investigation or CBI today filed two more chargesheets in the disproportionate assets case against YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Mr Reddy is on judicial remand until September 20.

The chargesheets name former Andhra Pradesh ministers, Sabitha Indra Reddy and Dharmana Prasad, as the accused in the case. The two ministers had resigned in May this year. State industries minister Geetha Reddy and IAS officer Ratna Prabha have also been named.

The disproportionate assets case relates to alleged investments made by private firms and individual investors in Mr Reddy's companies as a quid-pro-quo for government favours when his father, late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Last week, Mr Reddy moved a bail application in a special court in Hyderabad, seeking relief on the ground that CBI investigations into the corruption case against him were over.

Mr Reddy, arrested by the CBI on May 27, has been lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison in Hyderabad under judicial remand.

The chargesheets filed today may be the last in the case. The Supreme Court had on May 9 allowed the YSR Congress leader to apply for bail after the CBI files all its chargesheets.
