Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu:
Customs officials have seized 400 gm of gold valued at Rs 11.2 lakh from a passenger, who arrived at the airport in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu from Malaysia, police said today.
Officials during a search found the gold hidden inside the wheel of the suitcase of Durai Arasan, who arrived by an Air Asia flight last midnight.
He has been detained, they said.
