Madurai: Former DMK Minister KKSSR Ramachandran had a scare when an ex-serviceman grabbed him by the shirt and yelled at him while he was returning after participating in a demonstration.
Police said that the man, who had some psychological problem, had grabbed Ramachandran's shirt when he was returning to his car after participating in a DMK organised demonstration against the petrol price hike.
The ex-serviceman was later arrested on a complaint lodged by DMK town secretary SR Dhanapalan,
Meanwhile, the ex-serviceman's wife lodged a police complaint alleging that DMK cadres had beaten up her husband who had gone there to attend the DMK demonstration.
