11 killed as ambulance crashes into truck near Dadesogur

Raichur: At least 11 people were killed and seven others seriously injured when an ambulance in which they were travelling crashed into a loaded truck near Dadesogur area here, police said.

Eighteen people were in the ambulance and those killed included two women and four children, they said.

The victims were bringing back the body of a relative who had died on Monday at a Bangalore hospital to Hathikuni village, police said.
