World's toughest job: what it takes is shocking. Are you qualified?
New Delhi: Consider this: you are at a job interview, all suited up, ready to brave the toughest questions the interviewer throws at you. Now imagine being told that the job you applied for is "the most important job." Are you ready for this?

And are you ready for the job requirements? The person in charge would not only need to think on their feet but also be on their feet constantly; 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And there are no breaks available.

Along with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, the candidate must also have expertise in medicine, finance and culinary arts.

No holidays, extra work on occasions and staying up late with the associate are just some more necessities. "If you had a life, we would ask you to give that up," says the interviewer.

And here's the big one; the candidate must do this with a happy disposition and no salary. That's right. You don't get paid for this job.

"That's almost cruel. Like a sick, twisted joke," says one of the 24 candidates who applied for the job and were interviewed via recorded video chat. "That's inhumane," says another. "Nobody's doing that for free," says a third.

And that is when the assessor tells them that billions of people already hold this position, described as 'Director of Operations.'

You're in for a shock with this one. Are you ready to meet the person doing the world's toughest job?
