The world's most bored cat ponders the meaning of life
If you are ever feeling blue, discontented, bored and empty, remember this - Henri the cat is more bored than you and his life is more empty than yours.

Star of the web series Le Chat Noir, a collection of 11 short films about the world's most philosophical cat, Henri's musings on life and the feline condition would put Aristotle, Plato and Descartes to shame.

In Paws de Deux, the second film starring Henri, the four-legged thinker is plagued by a vacuum of meaning in his furry existence. "I wake to the same tedium," says his 'voice' as he stares balefully into the camera, "forgotten on the floor."

We guarantee you will grimace in sympathy (inwardly, if you are reading this at work) when Henri laments, "I'm surrounded by morons."

And you will nod silently over Henri's existential crisis: "I am free to go. Yet I remain."

Like all good philosophers, though, there are lessons to be learnt as by-products of Henri's ennui:

1. The whipped cream in the bathroom is not whipped cream
2. We cannot escape ourselves
3. And sometimes, the cat door is closed
