The thing about terrible movies is that their scathing reviews can give one immense pleasure. Stand up artist Kanan Gill, who gave us a glimpse of the 'deep knowledge' Bangaloreans have about politics in India, has recently started the trend of reviewing movies that make so much sense, they're known to cause brain cells to pop and die. The YouTube segment called Pretentious Movie Reviews is as of now just four movies old:

Jaani Dushman: Gill and Biswa lampoon this artistic marvel of a movie, which has enough actors to start a tiny country. Seriously.
Jaani Dushman stars Akshay Kumar, Manisha Koirala, Sonu Nigam, Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Arman Kohli, Rajat Bedi, Atul Agnihotri, Amrish Puri, Raj Babbar, Arshad Warsi, Sharad Kapoor, Johnny Lever, Aditya Pancholi, Kiran Kumar, Rambha, Aman Verma, Jaspal Bhatti, Kiran Rathod, Raza Murad, and Shahbaaz Khan.
The supernova star cast, the logical plot, the catchy songs and the legendary acting abilities of Sonu Nigam have been captured, and captured so well by this duo that their YouTube video has probably received more hits than this movie sold tickets.

Gunda: There can never be a debate on the awesomeness of this Kanti Shah film ever. Never ever. Ever. Ever.
A Mithun Chakraborty-starrer, the film has everything a movie requires: unforgettable dialogues (that rhyme, hello!), gravity-defying stunts, drama, and pathos. The only thing more amazing than this cinematic genius, is perhaps its review.

Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon: This movie belongs to that sad era when Kareena hadn't met Imtiaz Ali, and a stylist. A much-hyped Sooraj Barjatya film, the plot is extremely complex. There are two guys in love with the same girl. Girl's family likes the rich guy. Girl loves the other guy. Mind numbingly sad. And original. The only thing that uplifts this complex plot is the acting, which is not at all over-the-top. There is just "more acting per unit area than you have ever seen". A value-based film, where we learn that the characters love their teachers (with banners), students (more banners), parents (with singing and banners and pom poms).

Aap Ka Suroor: There are films, and then there is this. It is widely believed that
Aap ka Suroor was made to please Himesh Reshammiya. It stars Himesh, has music composed by Himesh and revolves entirely around Himesh. Also Germany. We'd like to tell you about the plot but we're still trying to figure that one out. And it seems, the same issue ailed Kanan and Biswa, who begin by reviewing it but clearly find a discussion on 'True Love' more engaging. Let's just say their philosophical discussion made more sense than the film.
In a country that believes in mass producing movies, these guys have tumbled upon a potential goldmine. Astute, funny, and easy on the eyes, Kanan and Biswa may soon turn out to be the answer to all your prayers, internet trolls.
