Caught on Camera: Have You Seen This Rare 'Black Sea Devil' Fish Before?

Looking to add a new fish to your aquarium at home? Well, this one's definitely not it.

Black, angry-looking and fear-inducing with its sharp, pointy teeth and huge mouth, the anglerfish is rightly called the 'Black Sea Devil'.

Caught on video tape for the first time in its natural habitat, the anglerfish has created quite a stir on the Internet. The footage of the elusive fish is believed to be a first of its kind.

The YouTube page says, "Fewer than half a dozen have ever been captured on film or video by deep diving research vehicles."

Found in deep dark waters of the Monterey Canyon, the 9 cm long anglerfish was observed during a mid-water research expedition by a remotely operated underwater vehicle called ROV Doc Ricketts.
