Three get death for kidnap and murder of 4-year-old

A court in Bihar awarded death penalty to three men and life imprisonment to another for abducting and killing of a four-year-old boy. Additional District and Sessions Judge Arun Kumar Singh gave the ruling at the Muzaffarpur district court.

A 58-year-old Dalit woman was killed on Thursday by her neighbour in Bihar's Gaya district, around 100 km from state capital Patna, for allegedly practicing witchcraft, police said. According to police, Lashki Devi was brutally beaten before being strangled to death by her neighbour Kapil Bhuiyan in Jumladih hamlet of Chotki Kewla village in Dumaria area of Gaya.
