    IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals has filed an FIR against its three arrested players for violating their contract. S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested on Thursday for allegedly spot-fixing during matches in the on-going season. The IPL franchise has also suspended their contracts pending inquiry.

    Spot-fixing: BCCI to send anti-corruption official with team for Champions Trophy

    Rs 20 lakh were reportedly recovered by the Delhi Police today in a raid at the residence of a relative of arrested player Ajit Chandila. Police sources claimed that Chandila during his interrogation had told the cops that a part of the cash he received for spot-fixing was stashed in his kit back at a relative's house. The cricketer had reportedly accompanied the police during the raid at his aunt's house near Delhi last night. Chandila was in touch with not one, but four sets of bookies and was willing to be available for fixing matches, according to sources.

    IPL spot-fixing: Enforcement Directorate to probe whether there was money laundering

    Officials from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) will also probe the spot-fixing case to find out if there was any money laundering involved. Along with the ED and the Delhi and Mumbai Police, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is also conducting an internal inquiry into the scandal that has rocked the on-going sixth edition of the Indian Premiere League.     Spot-fixing probe: Former Ranji player Manish Budewa among three fresh arrests

    The Delhi Police yesterday made three fresh arrests in the spot-fixing case which include a former Ranji player. Manish Guddewar, 32, used to play the Ranji Trophy for Vidarbha from 2003 to 2005. He has known Ajit Chandila since 2000 and used to practice cricket with the tainted Rajasthan Royals player. Sources say it was Guddewar who got Chandila in touch with other bookies. He was arrested from Aurangabad and will be produced in court later today.

    The Board of Control for Cricket in India's Working Committee is meeting in Chennai to discuss its course of action on the spot-fixing controversy that has rocked the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League.     IPL spot-fixing: Delhi Police teams fan out across country to track money trail

    Teams of Delhi Police's special cell have been sent to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Kolkata to conduct searches and track the money trail in the IPL spot-fixing case.
