Kozhikode: Kerala Press Academy will honour
five veteran journalists for their contributions to the media
sector, N P Rajendran, Chairman, Kerala Press Academy, said
here.
Speaking to mediapersons today, Rajendran said Chief
Minister Oommen Chandy would give away the awards at a
function to be held on April 25.
The five journalists are B R P Bhaskar, K G Parameswaran
Nair, G Priyadarshan, T V Achutha Warrier and renowned
photographer M P Poulose.
The Academy has plans to set up a media museum, for which
the draft had already been prepared, he said, adding,
government had also earmarked Rs two lakh in the budget for
it.
