Thirteen people were killed and 17 others injured in a collision between a bus and a lorry on a national highway near Voddenahalli in Kolar district of Karnataka today, police said.
The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus was on its way to Tirupati when it collided with the sand laden lorry, police said.
The accident blocked traffic on the highway before police cleared it. The injured had been hospitalised, police said.
