Dhar:
A married woman was allegedly gang-raped by two men after she was kidnapped from a secluded place in Pithampur industrial town, about 40 km away from Dhar.
The incident took place on March 13, when three unidentified men allegedly kidnapped the 28-year-old woman from near a township in Pithampur town in a vehicle and took her to the nearby forests, where two of them gang-raped her, the police said today.
After that, they dumped her and she somehow managed to reach a nearby village and inform her husband, who reported the matter yesterday at the Pithampur police station after collecting her from the village.
A case of rape was registered against the two men, besides a case of kidnapping against the third person.
Efforts are on to trace the accused, Pithampur police station in-charge G P Dube said.
