Will PDP leader Madani get bail today?
Bangalore: A fast track sessions court in Bangalore will on Tuesday resume the hearing on the bail plea of Kerala PDP leader and 2008 Bangalore blasts accused Abdul Nasser Madani.

On Monday evening, his counsel had presented his argument stating that the entire case against his client was 'politically motivated'. The prosecution is expected to present its case to the court on Tuesday.

If the bail is granted, Madani will be released from judicial custody.

Madani was arrested at Kollam in Kerala on August 17 by the Karnataka Police, after having waited for eight days to execute the arrest warrant against the PDP leader.

Previously, Madani was acquitted by a trial court in the 1998 Coimbatore serial bomb blast case in which 58 people were killed.
