Lifetime Visas for PIO Card-Holders, Announces PM Narendra Modi in New York
New York: To loud cheers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced a lifetime visa for holders of the Person of Indian Origin or PIO card. He also announced visas on arrival for US citizens at New York's Madison Square Garden. (Highlights of PM Modi's Speech)

He announced that those with PIO cards will no longer have to report regularly to a police station.
