Himachal's Most Revered Idol, Worth Crores, Stolen From Temple
Shimla: An antique idol of Lord Raghunath, worth several crores, has been stolen from Himachal Pradesh's Kullu town early on Tuesday, police said.

The main idol was found missing from the temple, about 200 kilometres from the state capital of Shimla.

The Lord Raghunath temple dates back to 1637 when King Jagat Singh ruled Kullu. He installed the idol.

Official sources said last year also some jewellery and ornaments were stolen from the temple.

The famous Kullu dusshera is held every year at this temple.
