New Delhi:
Senior BJP leader LK Advani, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and actor Amitabh Bachchan are among the recipients of the prestigious Padma Awards.
Mr Advani and Mr Bachchan, along with Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and veteran actor Dilip Kumar will receive the Padma Vibhushan.
Microsoft founder and one of the world's foremost philanthropists Bill Gates, along with his wife Melinda will receive the Padma Bhushan, for their social work.
Manjul Bhargava, the Indian-origin academician who has won the Fields Trophy - known as the 'Nobel Prize of Mathematics' - will receive the Padma Bhushan for his contribution in the fields of science and engineering.
Cricketer Mithali Raj, badminton player PV Sindhu, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and lyricist Prasoon Joshi are among the recipients of the Padma Shri.
