Farrukhabad:
In Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad district, supporters of Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement were beaten by cops who were a part of Union minister Salman Khursheed's security cover.
The protesters had blocked Mr Khursheed's motorcade and waved black flags. Cops deployed for the minister's protection thrashed protesters after which they lay down before his motorcade and did not let it pass.
Salman khursheed was on a two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Farrukhabad when the incident took place.
