In an interview with NDTV, BJP's senior leader Arun Jaitley strongly condemned yesterday's attack in which Pakistani troops crossed over the Line of Control in Kashmir and killed two jawans. Below are the highlights of his interview:
- What Pakistan is doing is not cricket. This is no ordinary act of brutality, mutilating soldiers
- If we were in the government, we would have reviewed the level of engagement and pace of engagement with Pakistan
- Pakistan has made a habit out of living in denial
- The details of this have to be placed before the international community
- The Pakistani perpetrators must be named and shamed in theinternational community
- These were not non-state actors
- India's reaction to attack should go beyond empty words
