Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh: Brushing aside AAP's allegations of horse-trading, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav on Sunday said his party would form the government in Delhi in "fully democratic way".

Asserting that his party was not in favour of forming the government through undemocratic means, Mr Madhav said "had there been such things (horse-trading) then BJP might have formed the government six months ago".

Slamming the Arvind Kejriwal-led party for levelling "baseless allegations" against the BJP, Mr Madhav said, "AAP doesn't have anything else to do other than creating controversies and making such baseless allegations... They ran away from running the government and now they are demanding re-elections."

Asked about the Delhi Lieutenant Governor's move to invite BJP to form the government, he said "whatever the democratic methods are will be followed and a suitable decision will be taken by LG on this issue".

"Whosoever forms the government it will be formed in fully democratic way," he added.

Mr Madhav also visited the parliamentary office of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi and instructed the office bearers to hear the grievances of the people and make their efforts in solving peoples' problems rather than just collecting their complaint applications.

He was apprised about the working of the office by the local BJP leaders along with the office incharge, Shiv Sharan Pathak.

As the expectations and aspirations of a large number of people are attached with PM Modi, they will approach to this office, so the problems of people must be heard seriously by BJP office bearers in Varanasi, Mr Madhav asserted.
