Bihar hostage crisis over, Maoists release 3 abducted cops

Patna:  The week-long hostage crisis in Bihar is finally over with the Maoists releasing three abducted cops - Sub-Inspector Abhay Prasad Yadav, Havaldar Mohammad Ehsaan and Trainee Sub-Inspector Rupesh Kumar Sinha.

Four policemen were kidnapped last Sunday during an encounter with the Maoists in Lakhisarai, 150 km east of Patna.

One of them, Havaldar Lukas Tete, was killed by the Maoists. His body was found on Friday.
