Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Kiran Bedi to meet Anna Hazare today

Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Kiran Bedi to meet Anna Hazare today
Three Team Anna members, Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Kiran Bedi will meet Anna Hazare in Ralegan Siddhi today to apprise him about the deliberations at the Core Committee meeting. The meeting which was held on Saturday evening decided that there was no need for "dismantling" the team.

The three Team Anna members left for Ralegan Siddhi where Hazare is currently observing a vow of silence. They will meet him today and discuss the deliberations held at the Core Committee meeting here.

Amid allegations of financial misconduct, the Core Committee meeting of Team Anna met but ruled out disbanding itself. Team Anna also said it will not be cowed down by the government's "attempts to target its members".

After the meeting, Arvind Kejriwal had told reporters that he and Bhushan will be going to Ralegan Siddhi to brief Hazare about the deliberations at the meeting.

However, Kiran Bedi later tweeted that she was also accompanying Bhushan and Kejriwal to Ralegan Siddhi. "On our way to Ralegan Sidhi with Arvind and Prashant to meet Annaji and seek his further guidance."

This will be the first meeting the trio will be having with Anna Hazare after the various allegations made against each of them. Kejirwal has been accused of depositing donations for the Hazare agitation in a trust run by him, while Kiran Bedi has drawn ire for allegedly overcharging her hosts by inflating travel bills. Bhushan has been attacked by right-wing activists for advocating a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.

In the case of Bhushan, Anna Hazare came out in public to denounce his view on Jammu and Kashmir. But the veteran Gandhian has so far supported Bedi and Kejriwal saying a "gang of four" in the ruling Congress have been behind the allegations.
