250-kg bomb falls off IAF plane; no one hurt

New Delhi: In a freak incident, a bomb fell off a Mirage 2000 aircraft belonging to the Indian Air Force. The aircraft was on a routine sortie.

The 250-kg bomb fell from the Mirage 2000 and exploded near Pokhran in Rajasthan. No one was injured.

A court of inquiry has been ordered to establish why the bomb fell off the plane.
