Gaya:
Two persons were killed and 11 others injured in separate road accidents in Gaya district of Bihar today, a police officer said.
A speeding truck collided head-on with a car on NH-2 near Gopalpur village in which two occupants of the car died on the spot due to severe injuries, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nishant Kumar Tiwari said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, he said.
Efforts were on to ascertain the identity of the two victims.
In another incident, a bus lost control and overturned near Bairaka crossing in which eleven passengers sustained injuries, Tiwari said. ,
The injured were admitted to Atari Primary Health Centre (PHC) where the attending doctors referred two critically injured women, Nepul Devi (82) and Supriya Kumari (16) to Sadar hospital.
