Kim K buys Elizabeth Taylor's bracelets at auction

London: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has bought screen legend Elizabeth Taylor's three jade and diamond Lorraine Schwartz bangles for $ 65,000.

The 31-year-old socialite was one of the big bidders at Elizabeth Taylor's jewellery auction in New York on December 13 paying the huge amount for bangles once owned by the movie icon, TMZ reported.

Taylor's gem collection set a new world record after it fetched USD 118 million and became the most valuable private collection of jewels ever sold at auction.

Buyers from around the world bid for the gold and diamonds and Kardashian, who interviewed her heroine just months before she passed away, was among them.
