According to NDTV's opinion poll, of Kerala's 20 parliamentary seats, Congress-led UDF gets 10, down by three since our last poll a month ago and the Left coalition (LDF) gets the other 10.
So as campaigning progresses, the Left appears to be benefitting.
In 2009, the Congress coalition won 16 seats and the left won 4.
