BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's scheduled public rally at Dumka on March 24 has been cancelled, the party's Jharkhand unit general secretary Balmukund Sahay said today.
Stating that a new date would be announced later, Mr Sahay said the cancellation was necessitated following the announcement of general election schedules.
The earlier rally date had been fixed before announcement of the schedule.
