29 per cent voter turnout in initial hours in Rajasthan

Jaipur: An average of 29 per cent voting was registered during the initial hours today on the second polling day of Lok Sabha election in five parliamentary constituencies in Rajasthan.

Alwar registered 30.59 per cent voting till 11.30 am followed by Dausa at 30 per cent.

Tonk-Sawaimadhopur, Bharatpur, and Karauli-Dholpur recorded 29.17, 27.23 and 25.46 per cent respectively, according to chief election office in Jaipur. (India Votes: Candidates | Schedule)

Altogether 81 candidates including 10 women are in the fray in 5 constituencies in the second phase.(India Votes 2014: full coverage)

Polling in 20 constituencies out of a total of 25 seats took place in the first phase on April 17.
