Sunny morning in Delhi, rains expected

New Delhi: It was a sunny morning for Delhiites on Sunday with the minimum temperature settling a notch above average at 28 degrees Celsius. The weather office has forecast rains later in the day.

"The skies will be partly cloudy and some parts of the city will get light rains," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius, the official added.

Delhi on Saturday received 0.1 mm of rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures both settled a notch below average at 33 degrees and 25.7 degrees Celsius respectively.
