Thane:
A 19-year-old engineering student allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train on the outskirts of Mumbai in Thane district. The police say they have recovered a suicide note from his pocket in which he has accused two boys of harassing him.
The body of Nitin Padalkar, a second year Electronics and Telecommunications student at the Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, was found on the tracks on May 10.
A case has been registered at the Railway Police Station at Kalyan. Police say they are investigating the case and the two boys named in the suicide note will be questioned.
