It was a sunny morning in the capital today with the minimum temperature settling at 25.4 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The weather office has forecast a clear day ahead.
"A clear day lies ahead for the capital. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Humidity at 8.30 am was recorded at 63 percent.
The minimum temperature settled at 25.8 degrees Celsius yesterday, average for this time of the season, while the maximum was 35.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
Since the arrival of the monsoon, the city has recorded 781.4 mm of rainfall.
