Six arrested with 3.8 quintals of ganja

Bhagalpur: Police arrested six persons with 3.80 quintals of contraband ganja from near Ghogha in Bihar's Bhagalpur district today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Muhammad Irshad Imam said a police team acting on a tip off intercepted two vehicles on NH 80 and seized the contraband.

The value of the seized ganja is estimated to be around Rs 30 lakh in the international market.

The ganja was being smuggled to Jharkhand from Nepal via Bhagalpur, he said.
